Apart from the different educational positions that I’m currently holding with several galleries and museums around town, I’ve recently developed public programming for The Polygon Gallery, in North Vancouver.
Starting on the first Saturday in the month of November 2018, I was developing alternating art activities meant for a family audience, that were conceived with the concurrent gallery exhibitions in mind.
In the first example above, we were inviting the public to be inspired by the new work from Hannah Rickards, ‘One Can Make Out The Surface Only By Placing Any Dark-Coloured Object On the Ground’, in order to create their very own thaumatrope.
The image below gives you an idea of the programming designed for the Covid-19 safety protocols that I implemented by mid-2020, lasting until the end of the calendar year.
