Cover Photo LES CAHIERS #4 Travail photographique en couverture (2012)

Working as a weekly visual arts chronicler and photographer during my final years at Laval University, for the IMPACT CAMPUS, gave me the opportunity to see plenty of great shows in the Quebec City area. The position also kept my French writing skills sharp and had me shooting gallery pics periodically. So, it was quite a pleasure to find out one of my images had been chosen for the cover of LES CAHIERS #4, which is the yearly publication for La Galerie des arts visuels, the professional contemporary art gallery for the school of visual arts of the university.

En travaillant comme photographe et chroniqueur hebdomadaire en arts visuels pour l’IMPACT CAMPUS, j’ai eu l’occasion de voir plusieurs excellentes expositions lors de mes dernières années à l’Université Laval. Ce poste m’a aussi permis de développer une pratique d’écriture critique tout en prenant des photographies dans les galeries de la capitale nationale. C’est donc avec un plaisir que j’ai appris qu’une de mes photos avait été choisie pour la couverture de LES CAHIERS #4, publié annuellement par La Galerie des arts visuels de l’ÉAV de l’Université.
