For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working with Karen Knights and the VIVO crew in order to put together the latest instalment of EATa, an EVENING AT THE ARCHIVE. This particular fundraiser will feature the video work of Women In Focus founding member Marion Barling, and her invaluable contributions during the first ten years of existence of Vancouver’s earliest feminist artist-run centre.

My role in preparing the event consisted of assisting with the selection of print materials to be displayed during the evening. Having attended last years’ reception, I’m looking forward to taking part in EATa part III.

Dupuis quelques semaines, j’assiste avec la préparation de la prochaine levée de fonds pour l’archive médiatique Crista Dahl du centre VIVO de Vancouver. La soirée s’intitule “EATa: an EVENING AT THE ARCHIVE” et elle mettra en vedette le travail vidéographique de Marion Barling, fondatrice du premier centre d’artiste féministe de Vancouver.

Je travaillais donc avec Karen Knights et son équipe afin de sélectionner les publications qui vont paraître durant la soirée. Il s’annonce alors une soirée inoubliable en bonne compagnie.
