Getting preparations ready for tonight’s big event, the inaugural NUIT BLANCHE OTTAWA. The piece I will be presenting is DAWN & DUSK (AUBE & AURORE) which was presented in March at the Musée national des Beaux-arts du Québec, in Quebec City. Swing by the corner of the Clarendon Court and York Street to find my set up, and grab a coffee at the nearby Planet Coffee, which is also open until 4AM.

Under the curatorship of both Lainie Towell and Dr. Megan Smith, the Nuit Blanche concept brings together more than 160 artists, presenting roughly 100 projects, for this first Ottawa edition. The all night event takes place tonight, September 22, from 6:22 PM until 4:23 AM in both the Byward Market and Hintonburg areas.

Je suis présentement à finir les dernières préparations avant l’événement de ce soir: NBO12 ou Nuit Blanche Ottawa 2012. Pour l’occasion, je présenterai pour une deuxième fois l’installation AUBE & AURORE qui a été installé au Musée national des Beaux-arts du Québec en mars dernier. Je vous invite donc à faire un tour au coin de Clarendon et la rue York dans le Marché By ce soir, et vous pourrez aussi prendre un café en passant par le Planet Coffee qui est ouvert jusqu’aux petites heures du matin (heureusement!).

L’événement se tiendra ce samedi le 22 septembre, de 18h22 jusqu’à 4h23 du matin, dans les zones du Marché By et de Hintonburg.
